hotness
In Provo for the 4th of July, they always have hot air balloons in the morning on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of July. This is some exciting stuff for my little man, Mr. H.
He looks forward to watching the balloons every one of those mornings.
He runs straight from bed outside... blanket in hand.
On this particular morning my dad and I decided that the balloons were to far away. We wanted to get a little closer; seeing that they all looked like they were landing
(since no wind was in the air).
Off we went.
And found this a couple blocks down... a balloon landing! H was SO excited.
H and my Dad getting a little close to the balloon.
This is H reacting to the hot air that came pouring out into the balloon to keep the actual fabric/balloon up. Something that non of us (I about jumped out of my skin) was expecting.
It was hilarious. H freaked out.
He didn't understand what was going on.
I should have thought to have warned him,
but really I have never been this close to one either. I wasn't thinking.
And this is where H is telling the balloon to "go away. just go away!"
He asked to go see another, one less loud.
We just headed home. Not going to find a quieter balloon... just guessing.
Don't worry the noise didn't bother him when he got home and watched them from afar...

Wow. I did not know that Provo had balloons around the fourth. FUN! That story is so cute. Reminds me of my little one. She wanted a cat so bad, as soon as we went to the animal shelter and she realized that they have claws she didn't want to hold one or get one out of their cages, just look. She decided she would get one when she was a bigger girl.
oh...i miss you.
