slowly coming a long
This is the Nursery... it is slowly, but surely coming along.
This is the first nursery we have been able to really "do" and I am so excited. I was all about wallpapering my ceiling, I had this lady come over and give me an estimate. Ummm nope. I have this problem with finding a wallpaper I am in love with and it always being $$$... which I was willing to do becasue I had saved in all other areas. Until the sweet wallpaper lady told me I would have to re-mud and finish my ceiling over. It was too textured to do the wallpaper I wanted. Ughhh.
So I dropped the idea. Saved myself about 500$ and found a stencil off etsy. It will be great. Once it is done. All I can say is how happy I am I have a handy man husband. Because trying to get me in there to do all my ideas would be a sight. I would be so frustrated I would have destroyed the room by now, I am sure. Just hanging the light fixture alone would have had me all worked up.
Can't wait to show it to you all when it is complete.
And just for fun... because she is so darn cute...

Oh I wish I were there helping with the handy work. It's going to turn out beautifully.
i predict wainscoting of some sort and crown going in! can tell by the paint already on the wall! cute fixture, too. i used that in one of my projects and its so soft and lovely when its lit! cheers to the decorating!

I swear that is how my hole house looks-- halfway finished. Can't wait to see the finished product!
