Napa

I wanted to do something different for Spencer's birthday this year.  I wanted to get out of "Dodge" as they say... but not too far.  So we went to Napa.  

I looked online and reserved some greenery bikes... they were awesome.  They are electric bikes, so they assist in peddling when needed.  they can go up to 15 miles at "30mph" if just using the battery.  If you just use the assist then you can go up to 30 miles with help.  

So we went to Napa and took the scenic route up to Atlas Peak in Napa.  It overlooks the whole Napa valley and some of the bay area.  

It was honestly so fun to just get out.  To be together and talk.

After riding through Napa we went to dinner.  I had this place called Cuvee reserved, but Spencer really wanted to try out a restaurant called Rutherford Grill.  I must say his idea was a good one.  

The grilled artichoke was amazing! 

It really was so much fun to spend the day just the two of us.  And Napa couldn't be any prettier.  It was a really good day.
