Small Memories

Two things...

First:

As I was sitting in my bath tub the other night, I sat there wishing I had this:
As far back as I can remember Vitabath has always been in my home; well, the home I grew up in.  Only the Green Vitabath, no other "flavors" (green = lime) have made there way into the baths of the Clegg or the Thorn families.   My mother is a serial bather, as is my grandmother.

The smell of Vitabath takes me back to my childhood; there are few things more comforting then taking a bath and being able to poor this fresh smelling liquid into the faucet as it is running with water.

The Second thing:

Beautiful glass perfume bottles.  Growing up my mother always smelled delicious; as she still does.  (That is in a perfume way.)  It always amazes me how she can walk out of a room, after getting ready, and leave the room filled like some kind of paradise.  I don't know how she is able to do this on a regular bases?!

She always has more than a handful or yummy fragrances sitting on her mirrored table.  Not only are they filled with beautiful smells, but they look like little pieces of jewels.  A small piece of "little girl" heaven.

how true is this! I can never figure out how her skin just holds the delcious smell of good ole' delices de cartier! :-) Maybe it just comes with age...or maybe its the mix between the years of baths that makes her skin so yummy. I miss you. Wanna go to lunch today? Cafe Rio?!?! :-) love you!
