Last stage

Okay folks...

I started what is to by my last trimester with this little man growing steadily inside of me.

And I am all of the sudden wondering where all the time is going to go. Ya know Christmas is a short 29 days. Just f.y.i. And then there is Jan. that comes all too fast, then it is Feb and the man is making his appearance. Who really knows... he make come a little early {like a little girl I know, ahem R.}.

Spencer and I are slowly getting all things furnishing wise together {painting changing table etc.}, my mom is coming this next week to help get all my crazy projects done I have stored up in my brain. And to just have fun with me, of course.

But we are in a bit of a situation. This is where I NEED YOUR HELP.

We need a name. Now, really I wouldn't ask for your help {anyone and everyone}, but Spencer and I have a few we like... but nothing feels "right" yet. We just laugh. Poor third child... nothing is really ready. So if you have any names. Any at all. {don't be offended if we don't use it; just sayin'.}

For some reason Spencer and I can't really really agree on anything this time around. I know when we see him we will "know" as we did with H, but I want to LOVE the name. SO help me make a list my friends. We will narrow the list down and let you see the list... but we probably won't decide until we see the little handsome devil.

It is in your hands.

:)

You could use my nephews ex-name. he has it for 3 months until my sister backed out on it, so it has only been gently used.

Dane. Dane Brinton... Sounds like a movie star. I like it.

I have a huge list of boys names. Not sure that they are your taste though. Most of them are Norse or unusual.
We liked the names Franklin, Ole, Magnus, and Roscoe.

Also Aksel, Linus, Augustus, Jasper, Felix, Oscar, Moses, and the list goes on. Good luck!

We had a hard time decided on Harry's name, but I always knew it in my gut. As soon as I realized I was pregnant I thought, "Baby Harold Ryan." And that is what I ended up naming him after agonizing for ages. Harold is Ryan's grandpa's name who was really important to him.
I do like Dane too!

Ohh good luck and congrats. Boys names are hard. I really am happy with my boys names so far! Nathan Thomas and Kyle Steven. :) If this baby is another boy, we will be asking for help just like you! ;)
Good luck!

Hey Whitney. I know of you in HS...but I knew your sister Aarean. And I was in the Las Brisas ward. Anyways, I occasionally check out your blog and I thought I would give my 2 cents. Take it for what it's worth. We are adopting a baby girl...but if it was a boy, these were on our list. In no particular order.

Elliot
Brigham
Wade
Max
Cole
Owen
Jack

We also checked out the social security web site here:

http://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/state/index.html

and you can see what the top 100 names for each state. Have fun and good luck!

So since we don't have any boys we have a few names that have been stored up for a long time. Here are a few we have always liked.

Deacon
Cohen
Baker
Krew/ Crew
Nixon
Brody
Brock
Drew

Is your daughters name pronounced Reegan or
Raygan? We named our baby Reagan, and its pronounced Reegan, and I noticed that your daughter has the same name...well maybe. Good taste in names:) We have always loved that name!

On our lists (although we had a HECK of a time agreeing!) were Tucker, Cooper, Hudson (obviously you won't be using that this time around), Spencer (also another non-usable), Corbin, Owen....and Rowen! If you even contemplate Rowen, I can tell you right now we get tons of compliments on his name!

Oh, oh! I forgot Harrison. And my sister LOVES the name (for years, actually) Crew and Cole. She is sitting here with me so figured I would throw it in.

Ooooh, I have ONE. And it is what we will be naming our next son, if we have another son. I will tell you, only because most people don't like it. And if you do, I really won't be upset if you use it because I am just that nice, hehe. His name will be Levi.

But wow..! There seem to be some great ideas in these comments. I love Dane. I have a friend that just named her son Cope. I thought that was cute.. different, but not too "out there".

Good luck!

haha-- I just saw that someone else mentioned Levi.

Carter, Christopher, Cooper, Emerson, Evan, Tate, Tolman, Tucker, Harrison, Wade, Walker, Wesley, Wilson, Ryder, Truman, Davin, Quinn, Wyatt, Wynn, Lane, Oliver, Sullivan, Miles, Cannon, Bennett, Coleman, Anderson, Barrett, Connor, Benson, Denver, Hewett, and I still like Asher from the first go around. My dad would be sad if I didn't suggest Merrill. Ha. Or I love my grandfather's name Clark. Perhaps I went a little overboard. Hope you find one. I am partial to a couple but I don't want to provide any bias.

Oh I like Dane too. And Ethan. And Whitman, but Whitman Brinton is a little bit of a tongue twister...and then you might run into the problem of having the same nick name for you Whitney and Whitman.

I loved reading all those names! Picking a name is sooo hard and so fun at the same time. I wish I could have a million kids just for the sake of using up all the names I want ;-) I also love the fact that you referred of little bambino as your "handsome little devil" b/c that is what we call Bennett all the time. Good luck on the name, I can't wait to hear!

my mom made me go to her foot zone person who said my "boy side" was strong. Just in case she's right, I've been thinking of boy names. I like family and classic names. I love my oldest brother's name (brady) or my fil's name (william/will). Another family name I love is (charles/charlie), but it's way too close to my name. Another family name that's already taken is samuel. Can't wait to hear what you choose!

Love,
Me

Whitney...you are pregnant?! Wow, I've totally missed almost your whole pregnancy! Congratulations!!!!!! Does this mean when I see Spencer (and you) next week at the Christmas party I can say..."Spencer everytime I see you guys, you are pregnant!" ;) Well at least this time he won't be able to say that to me. :) Anyhow I am soo excited for you guys...yea!!! But will you be there in February? It won't be the same without you...

Whit said...

Yes Kim - I am pregnant. Very much so. And you have every right to say anything you like to Spencer... ha. I am due in Feb... but am thinking this boy has his mind set a little earlier... I swear sometimes I think I am in labor already. A little early for my taste.

Can't wait to see you in a few days!

And yes Feb. is out for me... sad sad.

Oh boy, I LOVED Bek's list. Too funny. So hard to choose a boy's name that's as good as Hudson. Such a great name, one of my favs. I love the name Cohen for a boy. Can't wait to hear what you pick and see a darling new Brinton. Good Luck!
