Warmth by Fire

While I was at my parents {when visiting baby Sage}, H kept asking my dad for a fire... to roast marshmallows... and of course what is grandpa to do but to give his grandson a fire to roast.

My dad got a little carried away and dug a pit to do the fire it in {the fire last for about 2-3 days}. A tiny bit scary to see smoke and sparks for a few days flying up out of the ditch. Ya know, no problem we just had to water it through out the day. Nice.

Anyway once dad realized the fire was a little too much for marshmallows he brought out the trusty fire pit/pan and some smores were made... they were delish - like always,

Hudson and my dad watching the blaze in the far back of the yard... Hudson was in awe. Might have been a little too fascinating for my little man. Let's hope it wasn't the start to something.
