Trip to Utah

Way way way to much to talk about... if you dare take a look.

This was classic.  

We went to the dinosaur museum at Thanks Giving Point; and there was this area where the kids could put an apron on and go at it in the (smelly) water and toys.  Hudson wanted to do this, but when we got up there to touch everything he was not about it.  He HATES to have dirty hands and didn't like touching the sandy/muddy toys... as you can tell.

This is what Uncle Josh looked like by the time we were about to leave.

The starting of the 4th of July.  

We headed out to the famous Provo 4th parade.  

(I was a little disappointed... it seemed like there were soooo many political people driving in cars... BORING.  The jets/bombers (right spence?) were cool enough to make the morning worth it.)

This was how Hudson watched the fire works.  He did last the night/show... I didn't think he would, but he did.  He was done about 5 min. into the fireworks.  

He actually asked to go to "his house" after the jets came by in the beginning... luckily the dancers came on right after and distracted him.

We had such a wonderful time in Utah with family over the 4th, I even got Spence to come out.  Yahoo!  We ate well, sat in the sun and shopped at some fun places.  We were able to visit with Spencer's sister Eliza as well.  Which she made the best dinner I have had in a long time; but to be honest the woman can cook and to think of it I wasn't too surprised by the yummy factor.

I will say that no where I have been (that is on the 4th) is better then Utah for the 4th of July.  There is something about it, I don't know if it is the warm weather with afternoon thunderstorms, the food, the people, the mountains, family... or just the spirit of the 4th.  It is one of my favorite days in the year.  And nothing compares to Utah 4th.  At least nothing yet.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for letting us stay with you, I know we can put a new definition to a "week's vacation" when staying at your home.  But we love and appreciate all you do for us.  Thank you!
