That's what Rose said...

Yesterday Spencer called me on the phone and told me he had a surprise for me...  this isn't usual; or I should say a regular occurrence.  But when it happens, it is so exciting... because it is usually a wonderful surprise.  

In the past he has come home from work hand me my keys and has told me to take a ride to the spa near our home.  To which I would find a nice long massage waiting for me. 

  

More often he comes home, takes the kids outside and plays with them until dinner is done and I have had a few moments to myself.  (I know, lucky gal I am).

But yesterday he seemed a little giddy.  Which got me a little giddy.  

Now why he told me in the morning about my surprise, I don't know.  Probably because he wanted me to think about it all day (I had to wait until 10:3opm to receive this little nugget) - which I did.  All day, when I had a free moment with my head, I sat and guessed as to what on earth could get him as excited as he was?  A trip?  A sweet raise?  Ummm... I had no clue.

And when he pulled this sweet thang out, I was speechless.

I didn't quite know how to react.  I have told him about this a few times, not ever thinking it would arrive... and glory glory here it is.  I just looked at it and wondered how I got such a gift as this man across from me.  Then I thought how will I ever get a surprise like this for him?  I have no clue - but when I think of it I will let you all know.  This lens is a dream (Canon L-series 24-105mm), and so is my man.

As Rose has proclaimed, "What a man!"
