My Sat. Night

About a month ago, I was asked to take some pictures at a "Ministry Dinner".
{It was for a friend's parish.}  This last Sat. was the event.

These are a few of my favorite...

The men in the pictures were being honored that night, for all their service they have given.  I have decided that the elderly are so much fun to photograph.  They aren't {very few} "zoned in"; so they pull such great faces.
And their faces are FULL of expression.  It cracked me up.

What was more of a delight, then watching the men get all excited and overwhelmed was watching their wives.  {There were five men total.}   The women were beyond proud of their husbands; and glowed watching them.

I think the woman above was holding the award tighter than her husband.
 She was a little more "zoned in" - ha ha.

The following was of Tony {one of the recipients}.
He just realized the announcer was talking about him.
Tony started to get embarrassed by the story - he blushed a little.
He was a funny, flirtatious and pistol of a man.

This is Tony's wife.  Watching her husband get all red.
{She liked to dance... she got into her boogie later that night.}

After the awards were handed out, the mingling and dancing began.
Everyone was enjoying themselves; fully.
*Lauren - you did such a great job with the night.
