Still Haunting... even if late

Here are MANY pictures of the grand ole night...
Halloween!!
We took off to a coveted neighborhood near us...
and made out with more than what is healthy.
We only went down and around one street folks.
And by the end, my sweet little angle was dragging her 4 pound pumpkin everywhere - afraid one of us was going to take it all.
She is no dummy.

Ben and June taking a break -
asking for candy is exhausting.

And to even make the night better,
"who - know- who" made his way out again.

People, he is looking at my gun.  Nothing else.
{it was the only picture I had of the both of us...
ha, he was looking at my gun.}

One mighty cute witch made her appearance

And for the kiddos...
some stopped enough for me to "shoot" them,
others {ahem my son} would not stop running...
I mean he had things to do.

And then the heaven's parted and
this angelic angle graced us with her beauty.
{She stood still for me.  Or maybe I was just really "into her".}

She was fantastic for a 18mth old.
She would run up to the door - didn't want help, and say "twik=teet....tank-ya"

It was the best part of the night.
sigh sigh sigh

{Lisa and Reaggers}

Now, for this one {below} he could not just "be"...
I love the tung out of his mouth.  Classic.

Have you ever seen a cuter pirate, skeleton pirate?
I mean really?

{His meanest face. }

Then there was her highness.
She told me when to stop taking pictures.
It was clear as day.
She cracks me up.

It was all a blur, when it came to getting to the homes...

R following, she knew exactly what to do.  She was in her element.

This is me, trying to make amends with people's yards... after R, the tornado, comes through - nothing is safe.
Your decorations, candy, cars, grass & hearts.  You get my drift.

The beautiful C family.

Mandi and her Skeleton Pirate.

I am telling ya - there is no where like this neighborhood.
They even have a load of police come in before the dark arrives...
just to handle the crazies
 {I am using "crazies" instead of teenagers - I think that is fair, right?}.

This is what you find at the end of the haul:
1. Reagan biting through her wrappers
2. Really really thirsty kids.

The end.

By the way, I have {a handful of times} went in search of my darling daughter, this last week,
 to find her in the corner with some kind of candy ch-owing down.
Guilty faced and happy as can be.

I love your new header. Very cute. And I love Spencer's costume. Good laugh. Looks like you guys had a great time. I remember when I was young and trick or treating in San Diego was so nice because we could actually show our costumes off instead of wearing our winter gear on top!!! :) And I love the Lilly Keely's. :)

wow, you went out early. we've always waited until dark. but i like the idea of going when it's still light (for photo purposes. haha). but i'm thinking mine will be going without me next year :( they grow up way too fast.

Jana - you make me laugh... of course you would see those shoes. Ha.

I got them for 22 bucks! At Nordstrom rack - deal deal deal.

Kristin - we went out about 5pm... it is MUCH easier with the kids. I am sure this early trick-or-treating will come to a stop very soon. :)
