Thankful{s}

{This bed has been passed down to me by my mother. It was my bed, my mother's, her father's and his father's.
Now my little H sleeps in it. I have another bed for R, just the same. I love these beds, and who have slept in them.}

15. For those whom have gone before us. Ancestors.
I think a lot about those who have made it possible for me to be where I am today. The life I lead doesn't have to do with all of my decisions; but millions of little strings of decisions by my ancestors as well. I think that they have help mold me; more than I realize. And I am grateful for my life. For "where" I am in my life and the opportunities I have; because of some of their sacrifices.
They have blessed me.

16. Honesty. Hudson yesterday, while at a store, saw a woman with {forgive me} a HUGE rear end. He stopped dead in his tracks and told my mom and I to "come here". I knew what was coming {it was hard to miss}; he waited for us to get to his side then he exclaimed:
"Mom & grandma look at that lady's bum. IT IS HUGE!"
Good thing the woman was more than an ear-length away - otherwise I would have bolted as fast as I could have.
Honesty is something hard to find in people. I know it is difficult to be "completely honest" with some, but in the end it does the least damage... if done in a tactful and gracious way.

17. Razors. Really happy I have razors in my life. To take all unwanted hair off. I get all grossed out thinking about the hair I would have had if I lived a century before. Not pretty.
