deal oh my deal
Went and had myself a fantastic evening with Mandi, the other night. Wasn't looking for a THING. NOTHING. What-do-ya-know she came across an aspiring bargain; for me. Got myself some beautiful drapes {see above, in grey/hint of porcelain blue}. Ya know, for the house I don't have.
They were such an amazing deal, that I bought them anyway. I mean, someday I will a have a place to hang them... and I will, in that day, know that I just saved myself about a grand. They are top notch. I am in love with them. And if you have read this blog, at any time, you can guess that I have major buyers remorse. Usually I buy something and sit on it for a few days, thinking about it, then return it. Well, my friends, I have turned the corner... at least on this buy. Every day since my purchase I get more giddy... that for some reason I had Miss Find Best Deals with me, and the universe wanted to give me a gift. Of drapes. Maybe to remind me that in the future there will be a window that I own... a window that beckons these silk drapes. Can't wait. Until them, I am giddy with my purchase.

um, yes! that was a moment when destiny calls and you pick up the phone!! $69 for double wide 108" silk curtains! it doesn't get better than that. I don't care if you live in an igloo!! that was a great night. love your face.
great deals are amazing! you should get them lined, though. if they get a lot of sunlight, they will be damaged down the road (faded, and they will shred- its sad, so sad). not to be a downer, but just so you know. =) also, if you ever DO need to replace silk drapes, I can get nice silk for you (in just about ANY color your little heart desires) at like, $24 a yard. I can hook you UP! =)
