Some Handsome Men... and LISTS

I know that it has been a bit longer then I had "said" it would be. But to be honest, I haven't been in a "blogging" mood. I think that the whole "nesting" period of this pregnancy is starting to happen, no... I know it is. So, thus all my "bees" in my bonnet are going for cleaning out things and organizing EVERYTHING. Which is a good thing. A thing which our little 850 sq. foot living space is in much need of. Here are a few of my "projects"

  • Get address organized and in the computer system before announcements need to be sent out. (by the way send my your address if you would like one)
  • Be ambitious and sew blessing dress
  • Make ALL of Hudson's photo/scrap books. Digital.
  • Complete Scanning Spencer's old photos into computer
  • Figure out where the heck everything is going to go for this baby (clothes wise)
  • Get her bedding fixed and up (later on my "to do list")
  • Paint some pictures for Hudson and her (for her) room
  • Get lists done for Primary for talks for the last 6 mths of year (Sandy I will be sending those to you soon, promise!!!!)
  • Make Baby blanket
  • Sew friend's blanket
  • Sew "some one's " blanket
  • Clean out Hudson's old clothes and throw away everything in between, seriously!

I am SURE there are tons more things, but that is just a few things...

Anyway - This past Sat. we went (tried really hard) up to Sacramento. We were not too smart, in that we didn't even think about it being President's Day on Monday, and got stuck in MAJOR traffic. (I forgot to bring Hudson a movie and the portable TV. CRAZY!)
We had this great idea of going up there to have lunch at this "rip off" Cafe Rio (which by the way closest thing to the yummy restaurant that I have tasted yet - it was good! Made me miss the actual place.) restaurant, and to see the Train Museum. Well, we only really made it to one.

We went with Mandi & Ben and their two cute kids and stopped off at some stores, which ended up providing entertainment for Hudson and William. It was this little fair/amusement park for kids - it was GRAND. Hudson and William (and parents) thought this was the best thing that had happened all day. It was so beautiful and fun to just hang out there.
After about 1.5 hours there we got back into the car, thinking traffic had died down, and headed for some grub. Again, not too smart. We got right back into some more traffic and got to lunch about 3pm. he he. Oh well. It was fun to be with the Crocketts (like ALWAYS) and to do something different for a change, even though Hudson was beyond annoyed with the car for the ride home - who blames him? I was right there with him.

Here are some pictures of the afternoon at the park... Mandi is so good at taking pictures... she is amazing at everything, creative creative. I just love her. (by the way, we left their home last night after stopping by for the usual Sunday "hello", and Hudson was torn up about not being able to give "mani" a kiss before leaving. So we flipped around and headed back (only a block away) and let him give her a kiss goodbye. After which he was as happy as could be. "Mani" is his first crush. Too bad she is 26 years older and married... but you never know?!?

You ARE busy!! You'll be so thankful to have it all done before the baby gets here though. I was checking out your friend Mandi's blog and I LOVE that picture of you that she has up there...the one looking down on you and your belly. You look so pretty and like the perfect little pregnant woman :-) You need to put it on your blog b/c you look so good in it!!! By the way I am only one week into my new calling and Jason was dead wrong about it being easy!! You were for sure right about not knowing how much goes into being secretary until you're the one doing it all.
