pictures

{Picture taken this past summer when I was pretending to be patient enough for bangs.  Not the case now.}

I was going through Spencer and my wedding pictures {picture above has nothing to do with this post, just never posted the picture, so I thought why not?!} and I REALLY wanted to throw 98% of them away.  Seriously.  They are nasty.  I know, I know... they are from a special day - but I am so ticked at my photographer.  She was crap.
Wouldn't say it if I didn't really FEEL it.
Not sure why she was so bad.  We flew her down in for the wedding.  Put her up in a hotel {it was cheaper than going with someone near us}, she had friends that she visited with one day.  So why did she rush the whole day/evening??  It drives me insane... plus she won't return our calls for the negatives.  Not that I really care at this point.
Her pictures that she showed me, to sell me on, were good.  I don't know?  I am now more mad now then I was right after we were married.  Maybe because I am starting to understand photography a itty bit more then back then, but it is a doozy.  My photos.
Good ridden to bad rubbish.  I did discover how handsome my husband was/is once again.  And he just gets better with age.  Guess I will keep the whole sack of bad photographs for him and my kids.  Please, no not for my sake.

I am such a negative fool right now.  Yuck.

Dude - not posting. If I did, it would be the "good ones"... it isn't so much we look horrible, but the composition, the lighting, the off center of every picture that gets me. Plus the strange backdrops... like a pole right behind us. That kind of bad.

And, I don't have a scanner that I understand... so maybe someday! wink wink.

Both my brothers and their future wifes came to me asking which photographers to use, but my suggestions were too expensive (because they're actually GOOD!), and went (or are going with) cheaper. I had to bite my tougue. You get what you pay for (for the most part).

I so feel the same way about my wedding photos. They are absolutely no good. But maybe its that way because photography has gotten so much more creative in the digital age..?
