The Christmas Buzzz....
Hope that you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas.
Ours was great. A bit quiet, which has it's + and -; we were home this year. Spencer had to work Christmas Eve and the days after... so we just hung out. We didn't want to travel with him only have Christmas off - obviously.
Hudson didn't really "get" Christmas and only understood who Santa was, or rather looked like. Anything that resembles Santa's costume/outfit you will hear a large amount of "hohohohohohohohos" from little H. He has that down really well. But didn't understand that Santa is the one who brings the gifts.
Hudson received a big wooden train set with all the trimmings. He was a little tired the morning of Christmas; since he didn't sleep really at all the night before, he was too cold. I know sad. Why didn't I put socks on him? Who knows? Anyway, once we rounded the corner and the train table was in view all tiredness was forgotten, and his love of trains warmed him up. He was so much fun to watch. He loved to open all the presents and would ask for "mowrr" each time a present was opened. If he received a gift of clothes he would pass it right on over and say, "ummm no.... MOWRRR". It was really cute in a two year old way.
It was just a great morning, as Spencer and I sat there with him - watching him and his little mind and eyes as each gift was revealed. What a blessing.
Spencer received some tools, birding stuff (yes folks he is into birds... I know what you are thinking - but it really is quite sweet.) and... lotsa clothes. - Which he didn't ask for but his smart wife knew he was in need of. Maybe because every night I see t-shirts and basketball shorts on him. Now, Hudson and I have given him a few more options.
Spencer surprised me with a beautiful saute pan and some cooking classes with Viking (which I had asked for(he wasn't hinting), it is an exciting class to go to - only 1 of 12 in the nation)! I will let you all know about it when it comes around.
It was a Good day all around. We hope you had a wonderful day/week also!

I can't believe how much older Hudson looks in these pictures than when I saw him last. Love the pics of him with the train set too.
I have been dying to take cooking classes. Lucky girl!! And I also want to take dancing lessons. Can you even see Jason doing it? Hence, we haven't started. :)
Ok, I want some tips with cooking once you start your class.
Hudson is so cute, he's getting really big since we got back in touch.
