Little Man

I finally got a picture frame for this picture.  I have had this picture sitting in a tube for the last 7 months.  Finally found something to frame it in.  I love it.  I love his handsome handsome face.  I mean really.  Whose kid is really this cute?!  I know... yours is.

Last night he took a later nap, so I went into my room (where he has been napping lately, since him and R share a room) to wake him up.  I said his name a few times and got him somewhat attentive.  I had a small conversation with him about dinner and golfing with dad - IF he got up.  He mumbled and whined (I mean who likes to be woken up from a late & deep nap?  Not me.), I walked out telling him to get up and eat... and to hurry!  I walked out made a quick meal for him - we are talking cereal.  I knew it would get him up faster - knowing a bowl of cereal was waiting for him and not some yummy brussels sprout.  Which by the way I do cook and we do love, for the most part.

I walked back into my room and he was out cold.  Just limp.  So I climbed into bed, stuck my face right up against his and whispered his name.  He opened his eyes, half asleep, slid his body close to mine, put his hand in mine leaned in and kissed my cheek while smiling.  Me = melted.  All I could say was, "I love you Hudson."  To which he replied, in a drowsy heavy voice, "I love you soooo much too, mom."

This makes me happy.  So happy.

ooh. What a sweet kid. Kitty told me that she didn't like to have her hair in a pony tail because it made her look like me and I am not very pretty. I need a comment like Hudson's from her. I found the ponytail thing a little bit funny. Only a little.
