Blessings from trials

Some good friends of ours, the Ramos Family, have been battling with the health of their youngest son. About a week and a half ago, their beautiful son - Caleb Ramos, passed away. He was almost 4 mths old; he had some complications from birth. The family was prepared for his complications, knowing about them before he was born - but all the same it is never an easy time when such a little soul is lost.

We just wanted to let them know how much we love them.

How grateful we are for the plan of salvation and the blessings that come from trials such as this; it makes me so thankful for the peace and love that the gospel brings in such times. Sometimes in the midsts of events such as this, it seems (or I have noticed) that we see more clearly.

Thank you Charity and Brian for the example of strength and faith you have given to all of us.

I clicked on her blog, and I am just heart-broken! I am amazed at her strength. I hope them the best future. Thanks for sharing.

It brought tears to my eyes, it reminded me of the twins in the hospital and I can't imagine what she is going through. They seem to be very positive and thank goodness for their strong spirits and belief in the plan of salvation. They truly are blessed for that knowledge.

I had to check it out and that was a mistake bc I cried for the next hour at least (I had just finished putting on my makeup this morning). What an amazing family though. It's those people that really bring life into perspective and their strength that give the rest of this crazy world true meaning.
