Label Help!!

Truth be told:
I can NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO LABELS and addresses. This is why you will forever get letters from me with a handwritten address. It drives me crazy. Please ask me how many times I have sat at the computer for the past four days and inserted address hours 'till no end, to never find them again! And then if I do find them I can not get them onto a label page layout! I HATE THIS!
I downloaded this Avery thing, and can not get it to work for me. Am I so stupid that this is going to "win", I really despise battling with my computer on this one. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or some one want to help me and tell me what to do. SOMEONE PLEASE, Spencer seems to "never hear me" when I ask him for help with this. I have come to the conclusion that he just has no clue either. We are so not literate when dealing with computers, and this is one of the easier tasks, right?
